I manage a range of information communicaton and technology projects for Highland Council. Before my present job I taught in secondary schools for over 26 years. I am interested in technology, education, photography and hill walking. I live in the North West Highlands in the crofting township of Laide. My wife has recently retired from her job as Principal Teacher of Support for Learning. My daughter has just embarked on her first job as a primary teacher. So education discussions and debate are pretty common in our household.
